Four families who lost their homes to a rapid moving arson fire have experienced a rebuilding that was just as rapid.

Barbara Hobbs’ address is the same. So is the design of her home. But the walls, the carpeting, and the paint are all brand new -- and Barbara has a new perspective.

"I've learned a lot in the past ten weeks about people, and how good they are,” said Barbara. “As tragic as it was, it made me a better person."

The tragedy came on March 11, when three young boys, all elementary school age, started a grass fire that quickly spread to Barbara’s neighborhood. Four homes were destroyed and ten others were damaged. Meridian Homes, the contractor that built the homes three years ago promised to have the victims back quickly. No one imagined that it would be this quick.
