You're almost there! On the day of your closing, you will meet again with your Meridian Homes On-site Sales Representative at your new home for your "Final Walk Thru". This is to ensure all items from your Homeowner Orientation have been addressed. You will then proceed to the closing attorney's office for your closing.
Below is a simple checklist of the items you will need to bring with you and/or confirm for your closing.
- Final Walk Date & Time
- Closing Date & Time
- Please bring a certified check made payable to yourself for the down payment and closing costs for your new home. The amount needed will be on your Good Faith Disclosure provided by your lender. No personal checks will be accepted for amounts over $250.
- Please bring driver's license or other form of photo identification.
- Please bring prepaid 1-Year Homeowner's Insurance Policy. The closing attorney will need the insurance agency name and the cost of the policy prior to closing.
- Utilities must be transferred to your name on closing day.
- Remember to place address numbers on your mailbox to begin receiving mail delivery.
